SEXY Caroline Flack struggled to stay in her tight Strictly costumes and needed help to avoid a wardrobe malfunction.

The former winner hated having to wear figure-hugging dresses and high heels when she was on the BBC show in 2014.

Now the Love Island host is back for the Christmas Day special. She will dance a charleston while dressed up as Pinocchio.

And Caroline admitted she was thrilled to dress as a boy in the festive episode.

She said: “I’m wearing braces, shorts, trainers. It’s nice.

Struggled

“It used to scare me wearing skin-tight dresses and sparkling outfits and high heels because that is not who I am. When they told me I was in shorts braces and trainers I was like: ‘Woohoo’.

“When I first did Strictly I struggled with the costumes for the first couple of weeks but the girls here are so brilliant because I was like: ‘It’s too tight around here’, and the girls were like: ‘Just put some more sequins over it or cover it in tassels’.”

The TV presenter will be competing against past Strictly favourites including Aston Merrygold, Jake Wood, Michael Vaughan, Anita Rani and Ann Widdecombe.

When she was last on the show she was partnered with pro dancer Pasha Kovalev, but this time she has Gorka Marquez teaching her.

Caroline said: “It felt weird to start with, and it does feel a little like you are cheating on them.

“Gorka is very funny. He is playing Jiminy Cricket in our routine but he calls him, ‘Jiminy The Cricket’. He just chases me around a lot.”

See the show on Christmas Day at 5.30pm. ANN Widdecombe was not impressed with Theresa May’s skills when she danced along to Abba at the Tory Party conference. She said: “I think we will pass over that in the same way you pass over Ed Balls.”
