A VIOLENT thug launches a brutal attack on two female police officers in shocking images caught on their body cameras.

The yob pushed one officer into a hedge and wrestled with the other before punching one of the women a number of times while they struggled on the ground.

One of the officers required hospital treatment for her injuries after the incident earlier this month in North Hykeham, Lincs.

Chief Constable Bill Skelly said: “Police officers are human beings doing a difficult job.”

Merseyside Police said it was “the most efficient way of providing the facilities”. But Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull, from Standing for Women, slammed the decision not to provide separate female toilets. She said: “They have shown no regard for their female staff.”
