Ezra sees what Tamara brings!

-

SHOTGUN star George Ezra certainly hasn’t been a passenger in 2018.

The Hertfordshire singer’s second LP Staying At Tamara’s went platinum – spawning two massive hits and his first arena tour.

The refreshingly down-to-earth star is so in demand that he’s barely had time for it to all soak in.

“The tip is to not to stop,” he says with a huge grin. “It’s been very exciting but I’ve felt better equipped to handle it this time.”

Coming four years after his bestselling debut Wanted On A Voyage, George never had any doubts he could replicate that success.

“I wasn’t worried about the second album, only because I knew the success of the first one was because we had fun making it,” he explains. “So I didn’t want to over-complicate it.

“I wrote the songs with the same friends and I produced them with the same person in the same studio and I took a journey to get the songs.

“The difference is I now know what it’s like to play a concert with a band and I knew what we could achieve live, which meant I had more ideas in the studio.”

Doing the same thing is tricky after your first album sold more than two million copies around the world.

He says: “When you record the first album you’re just a kid in the studio
