MARC ALBRIGHTON says he can’t see a time when he will stop pointing to the skies to celebrate his goals.

The winger has enjoyed incredible highs and grief-stricken lows during his career at Leicester.

Albrighton celebrated his goal in the shock 2-1 Boxing Day win over Manchester City with his trademark look to the heavens.

The 29-year-old revealed that on the morning of the match his family was rocked by the death of a close friend.

Albrighton has endured more tragedy than most people could bear in recent years.

Three years ago, his partner Chloe’s mother was killed in the terrorist beach attack in Tunisia.

Sue Davey and her partner Scott lost their lives in the massacre which made headlines all around the globe.

Two months ago there was more agony when Leicester’s owner and chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha (inset, right) and four others lost their lives in the helicopter tragedy at the King Power stadium.

Albrighton says letting loved ones know he’s thinking of them is one of the few ways he can pay tribute for what they’ve done for him.

He said: “It’s a bit of everything. I’ve been affected by some tragedies in the past few years.

“All my goals now are dedicated to people that have influenced me in my life and my career. If that’s a way I can thank them, then so be it.

“It will continue, if I remember. Sometimes you get carried away during a goal, especially when you don’t score many like me. I enjoy scoring but if there’s one way to thank people that have helped me along the way then I’ll do that.”

Add to the mix the heady memories of playing a massive part in The Foxes carrying off the unlikeliest of title wins imaginable in May, 2016.

Albrighton played in every single game of that historic campaign when Claudio Ranieri’s 5000-1 no-hopers romped away from the big boys to become Premier League champions.

Not bad for a player whose career seemed to be going nowhere when Leicester picked him up on a free transfer after he was released by his boyhood club Aston Villa in 2014.

Albrighton’s equalising goal against City was something of a collector’s item because he scored
