JOE’S FAB DECISION
SEAN DYCHE knows he faces the sack at Burnley if he does not drag them out of relegation trouble.
The Clarets manager believes his achievements over the past six years will do nothing to save him.
Dyche took Burnley into Europe for the first time in 51 years after leading them to an incredible seventhplace finish in the Premier League last season.
But a miserable run of nine defeats in 11 league matches has left Burnley in the relegation zone – with in-form West Ham at Turf Moor tomorrow.
The club gave Dyche a four-year contract only last January, but he said: “Don’t for one minute think I believe that I’m set in stone here. I’m not.
“I’ve said it for years here that eventually they will want change, for good or bad reasons.
“Either I go somewhere else for the reason that we’ve been very successful, or we haven’t, and my position changes.
“It’s not something that concerns me. I know the work we put in here.”
Dyche was sacked by Watford in July 2012 before arriving at Turf Moor in October and taking them from the Championship’s lower reaches to Europe.
He added: “If we don’t address the results business we’re in, people will want change.
“I’ve been through that before at my previous club. There’s certainly no worry about it – I just get on with my business.”
