CORRIE favourite Roy Cropper faces a new year shock as show bosses kill off his mum.

Battleaxe Sylvia Goodwin is set to suffer a fatal heart attack leaving the soap legend devastated.

CORRIE chiefs are killing off Roy Cropper’s mum in the new year.
