‘Psycho’ Ava was totally spooked

CARDI B’s next album arrives in April but you won’t have to wait long that for new tunes. Lana Del Rey, Bring Me The Horizon and Lauren Jauregui will drop new music over the next week or so.

CHART-topper Ava Max battled ghosts when making the Sweet But Psycho music video.

She shot the video to the hit single at a well-known haunted house – and she and her crew fell ill!

Ava told me: “We were in a haunted house in Brooklyn and it was like so scary actually when we shot the video.

“Doors were opening and closing on their own, it was really crazy, and there were just old crosses that were broken everywhere.

“We were there for 18 hours and I just wanted to say: ‘Let’s get out of here now, bye.’

“I felt so faint too as the house was sucking everybody’s energy.

“The director got actual vertigo on the set, actual vertigo, it left us all feeling a little psycho really.”

Ava joked that although she was terrified it was the “perfect” paranormal setting for the song.

The spooky encounter is another thing she has in common with Lady Gaga, who stars in American Horror Story and was once haunted by a ghost called Ryan.

Ava has found herself being labelled the “new Gaga” – which she reckons is a huge compliment.

Ava said: “Gaga is incredible – I don’t care as she’s a legend.

“I’ve never been shy, and I always know what I want to do and who I am – and I think maybe that’s why it’s being said.”
