Limp Bizkit so hard to cr ack
and Orlando Bloom
hit the slopes in Aspen, Colorado, for a spot of snowboarding.
The loved-up couple co-ordinated outfits later that evening in matching geometric prints – KP kissed a Bloom and she definitely liked it.
UK rockers Bring Me The Horizon failed in their bid to make Limp Bizkit relevant again.
They were hired to produce a new album by the US veterans last year – but could not persuade them to update their sound.
BMTH singer Oli Sykes told me: “We went to LA to work with them for quite a while, but it didn’t pan out very well.
“There were no personal problems or anything like that, it was just not the right time.”
Oli hinted that Limp singer Fred Durst rarely turned up to the studio and may have been forced into working with BMTH by his managers.
He said: “I think I had delusions of grandeur when it came to working with Limp Bizkit.
“I felt like I could guide them to being the band they need to be. Even if I could have got Fred into the vocal booth, things change. We gave it our best go and when it ended there was no anger.”
At least one good thing came of the sessions – the riff to their own song Wonderful Life.
Oli said thoughtfully: “That was my first foray into producing someone else, and kind of made me think: ‘F***ing hell, I don’t want to do this.’
“It just made me realise what a big challenge it is to take on someone else’s band – it’s almost like you have to work twice as hard.”
The band return with new album AMO on January 25 and dropped a teaser from the LP called Medicine yesterday.
