Wilson, 26, has scored 48 goals in 126 league games for Eddie Howe’s men, including 10 this season.

Solanke joined Liverpool from Chelsea last season but started only five Premier League games for them.

Bournemouth boss Howe said: “Dominic is technically gifted, very athletic and has the physical profile that will give us something different in our front line.

“He has done very well for England at various age groups, has a huge amount of potential and I’m really excited about working with him.”

Solanke will be joined by Anfield team-mate Nathaniel Clyne, who is joining the Cherries on loan until the summer.
