LORD Sugar and his Apprentice co-star Baroness Brady barely turn up at the House of Lords.

New figures revealed they were among several peers who have missed the most sittings.

The Amstrad founder attended just 28 days of political debates out of a possible 229 (12% of possible attendances), while Brady went to just 17% of hers.

This comes after she was given six weeks off by the Tory chief whip to film the new series of The Apprentice show.

Olympian Lord Coe was also accused of going to just 6% of the debates since his appointment.

The legendary athlete has also failed to speak in the Lords for five years.

Author and former Conservative politician Lord Archer attended just four days out of a possible 229. Founder of the Ministry of Sound nightclub James Palumbo went to just 20 days.

Former MPs in the House also have appalling records.

Labour politician Peter Mandelson only went to 10% of the days possible, while former Tory Party leader William Hague went to just 14%.

Lord Coe explained that he had to make time for “hefty” international commitments.

Lord Sugar claimed it was a matter of “opinion” whether his record was poor.

His spokesman said he does not claim expenses.

A spokesman for Lord Archer also said he does not claim.
