‘Z-lister’ Jamie is Carr crash telly star

JAMIE Redknapp bawled “I’m a Z Lister, get me out of here” when he was invited to a star-studded wedding with Adele.
The ex-footballer – whose dad Harry won I’m A Celebrity last month – thought he was going to an A-list bash hosted by comedian Alan Carr.
He was asked along to a lesbian civil partnership ceremony for the Chatty Man star’s two female dogs, Bev and Joyce.
Jamie, 45, got a text message saying: “They have announced through a dog whisperer that they want to be married. Adele has agreed to give Joyce away and we would be honoured if you would walk Bev down the aisle.”
He replied immediately accepting the invitation, but later changed his mind when he thought he would be mixing with the likes of charttopper Adele. The former Liverpool and Spurs player texted Carr saying: “Adele is proper A List. You might need an upgrade on me!”
However, poor Jamie had no idea he was the victim of a prank.
Carr appears as a guest on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show tomorrow night and takes part in the comic’s weekly stunt “Send To All”.
McIntyre took the star’s mobile off him and sent a joke message – on his behalf – to everybody in his contacts list inviting them to a lesbian doggy wedding.
Dog lover Paul O’Grady also falls for it saying: “I’d be delighted.”
But DJ Chris Moyles rumbles them, replying: “Send my love to Michael. I guess you’re on his show as you haven’t texted me since 2013.”
The show airs tomorrow on BBC One at 7.10pm.
