STRANGER LEFT HIS SUITCASE ON STEPS

-

RITA Ora was freaked out by a stalker who was convinced they were an item.

The popstar was left shaken when a crazed fan turned up at her house with his belongings and asked to move in.

Reets revealed: “I had a situation where I had like a stalker and he came to my house and he left his suitcase outside of my door.

“He was convinced I had asked him to move in and I’ve never spoken to him before and that was a bit freaky. “That was a bit scary.” Although she’s not short of admirers, the Let You Love Me hitmaker added her relationships are doomed because she’s scared of getting hurt.

After some very public and bitter splits, including from ex Calvin Harris, the star admitted she’s now guarded when it comes to love.

Rita, who’s recently been romantically linked to Andrew Garfield, admitted: “It takes me a while to warm up to someone, open up to someone, trust someone.

“And sometimes because it takes me a while to do that I’ve had a lot of missed opportunities with not being able to get to know someone as I don’t allow myself to.

“I’m just really scared of getting hurt, and I just sometimes don’t let go.”

She added she doesn’t have a “type” but they must be able to party with her, saying: “I just like to feel like we are having fun, I like to have a lot of fun.”

Unlike most celebs Reets also insisted she doesn’t mind people gossiping about her dating life and chooses to ignore the rumours.

She said: “It’s part of the territory. You pick and choose.

“I don’t complain about it. I just don’t put attention toward it.”

Rita brings her Phoenix world tour to the UK in May with dates in London, Birmingham, Liverpool and Leeds.

And she plans on only going bigger, saying: “It’s been 10 years since I’ve been in the game, so I’ve started to really look at my future, which is something I’d like to build into a huge empire one day.

“So this is just another page in that chapter.”
