‘He dresses up as Zep star’ in planning feud
ROBBIE Williams is said to be trolling neighbour Jimmy Page by dressing up as his Led Zeppelin bandmate Robert Plant and blasting rock music.
The singer is planning to build a mega basement extension for his gym and 30ft swimming pool at the £17.5million property.
But guitar legend Jimmy is fighting to block the excavation to protect his own nearby mansion.
It has led to near-war between the stars, though Robbie has denied the allegations.
One outraged resident, named only as “Johnny”, has claimed the Rock DJ star has been strutting around in a long, curly wig.
In a bid to enrage the 75-year-old guitarist, it is claimed he has been blasting music from Led Zep rivals Black Sabbath and Deep Purple. A letter posted on the planning portal claimed: “Robbie Williams has been playing loud 70s rock music on outside speakers when he views Jimmy Page outside his home. “What’s been most annoying is that Mr Williams has played rock arch rival bands Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd and Deep Purple. “There have also been some reports that Robbie Williams has dressed up to imitate Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant.” Jimmy has fought the Angels singer at every step of the process, saying his home in posh Holland Park, west London, would be destroyed by reckless renovators. A spokeswoman for Robbie said the claims were “a complete fabrication and nonsense”. Jimmy’s representatives have been contacted for comment.
