PAREDES AT THE BRIDGE
bid £26.8m and £31.2m for Paredes, but while his club are holding out for their full valuation, all sides expect the deal to go through.
Sarri is also hunting a new striker but any move for Juventus star Gonzalo Higuain, currently on loan at AC Milan, remains problematic.
Chelsea have reservations about spending too much money on a 31-year-old, though there is the possibility of a loan move.

Christian Pulisic joined from Dortmund for £57m earlier this month but went straight back to the German side on loan.
In terms of departures, Alvaro Morata wants to leave Stamford Bridge and talks are continuing with Atletico Madrid over a loan which could become permanent next summer.
Ban
The striker has told both clubs he would take a pay cut to push the move through, but Madrid need to sell first.
Chelsea have also opened talks with David Luiz, who has said he wants to stay when his deal ends this summer.
Meanwhile, the club face a partial stadium ban after UEFA opened disciplinary proceedings against them yesterday.
Blues fans are accused of anti-semitic chanting during the 2-2 draw with MOL Vidi last month.
UEFA will decide whether to hit them with a ban on February 28.
British Transport Police have also been handed a video of Chelsea fans wanted for alleged racist chanting and sexual assault on a train on December 22.
