May: I gave Tusk hell!
THERESA May and Donald Tusk look grim-faced ahead of a crunch meeting in Brussels yesterday.
The Prime Minister was set to plead with EU officials to change the Brexit deal so she can win a majority and get it through parliament.
Speaking after the make-or-break talks, Mrs May revealed she had taken Mr Tusk to task over his recent remarks that “there is a special place in hell” for Brexiteers without a plan.
Mrs May claimed she told him he should be “focusing” on working with the UK to get a Brexit deal.
Later the tough-talking Brussels bureaucrat tweeted that there was “no breakthrough in sight” following the meeting.
