1) Ice cube
One of the 250 new ones added.
2) English flag
This one is self explanatory. There’s a massive selection of emoji flags for all your travelling needs.
3) Rollercoaster
This rollercoaster emoji is so tiny it might be hard to spot the detail on your phone screen.
4) Birthday cake
Used plenty of times on millennial Instagrams to express congratulations
5) Small gesture
This is another new one, demonstrated by Susanna
Reid on yesterday’s
Good Morning Britain. It actually means
“a little bit” but it’s already become innuendo for small willy.
6) Deaf
The new emoji collection aims to be more inclusive, so now the deaf community is represented by this lady.
7) Service dog
Another new one, a service dog. There’s also a specific “guide dog” emoji.
8) Waffle
A waffle, so every hip brunch can be documented even more easily.
9) Wheelchair
Part of the new collection.
10) Blood drop
Although the official name of this sign is blood drop, it’s already been coined as a picture to represent periods as there’s no emoji currently doing that.
11) Cinema ticket
This is another one so tiny it is hard to spot on screen – it says “admit one”.
12) Nail paint
This could be used to represent a nail paint or manicure but it’s more commonly used to express something being done well, or a girl being a “princess”.
13) Tramway
Who uses these emojis? This “aerial tramway” emoji was the least used on Twitter for a large chunk of 2018. It’s a sort of cable car.
14) Moon one
This one is easy, a crescent moon.
15) Moon two
This one is also the moon, with a creepy face this time. “New moon with face” is a moon hiding in shadow, often used to express something creepy – or even a crush on someone.
16) Moon three
And another moon – this time the counterpart of the last and also called “new moon with face” but this time it’s yellow.
17) Peach
This started out as a simple peach, but over the years it has become a cheeky euphemism for peachy bum.
18) Cocktail
The youth of today can’t have a night out without posting a snap of their expensive drinks hashtagged with the cocktail emoji.
19) Monkey
This monkey started out as “see no evil” but is more regularly used to express embarrassment.
20) Pig
Just a pig face but also has taken on a second meaning after social media users started tagging it on the end of their foodie pictures, meaning you’ve indulged a lot.
21). Cactus
A simple cactus which can mean “prickly”.
22) Fire
The fire emoji is a big compliment – it means hot, flames, fire when applied to a person.
23) Upside down smiley
A twist on the original emoji, when they just looked like punctuation not pictures. It’s a sarcastic smile.
24) Angel
Usually used on an Instagram caption when the poster has been to the gym, completed Dry January or eaten a salad and wanted to document it.
25) Heart
A simple declaration of love.
26) Punch
The fist emoji usually used to mean “smashing it”.
27) Peace
This is a V for Victory emoji, but it’s been adapted and now usually represents a peace sign.
28) Praying
This is officially called “folded hands” but it’s more commonly used as a praying emoji now.
29) Eggplant
This started out as an innocent eggplant – or aubergine – but now the only thing anyone uses it for is male genitalia. Even Lush released a bath bomb about it.
30) Crying laugh
The simple “tears of joy” emoji – or crying laugh face – means finding something is so funny that you start weeping. But it can also be used to be sarcastic about a joke or situation.
