SALA GIRL’S TRIBUTE AS BODY RECOVERED

EMILIANO Sala’s girlfriend last night posted online a poignant photo of a rose at sea as she waited to discover if his body had been recovered.

Victoria’s Secret model Berenice Schkair also put up an image on Instagram of her with the missing Cardiff City striker captioned: “Forever close to you. Never give up.”

The 27-year-old posted the images as a body was recovered from the wreckage of a Piper Malibu aircraft in the English Channel.

Pilot David Ibbotson was taking 28-year-old Sala from France to meet his new Cardiff team-mates when the plane vanished near Guernsey on January 21.

The wreck was found 67 metres under water in the English Channel on Sunday with a body inside.
