CCTV catches car just mins before Libby goes missing
HOPE OF FOOTAGE CLUE
MISSING student Libby Squires’ abduction may have have been caught on close circuit cameras.
Police hunting the 21-year-old – who vanished nine days ago – were last night studying CCTV footage appearing to show something being put into a car around the place and time she was last seen.
The grainy video was recorded by a security camera at a garage in Hull the night Libby disappeared. If it has captured the moment she vanished it reveals two key witnesses missed her abduction by seconds.
Yesterday a court granted detectives an extra 36 hours to continue questioning Polish butcher Pawel Relowicz, 24, over Libby’s disappearance.
They have sealed off the married dadof-two’s rented home, seized his computers and towed away his Vauxhall Astra.
The martial arts enthusiast’s terraced house in Hull is half a mile from the bench where Libby was last seen sitting in a drunken state shortly before midnight last Thursday.
Search teams were scouring a pond, derelict boat house and the banks of the River Hull.
