Argentine ace Higuain a threat to Pep’s boys

- CHARLIE McCANN BET OF THE WEEK

is

MANCHESTER CITY returned to the top of the Premier League in midweek but they remain our 5-4 second favourites for the title.

Tomorrow they host Chelsea having scored at least twice in their last 14 home league games.

And after their 2-0 win at Everton they have now won 10 of their last 11 games in all competitions scoring 39 times in the process.

Chelsea were beaten 4-0 at the Vitality Stadium in their last top-flight away game but they did manage to put five past lowly Huddersfield at Stamford Bridge last weekend. Maurizio Sarri’s side have lost their last four away matches against the “big six” and I can’t see them getting anything at the Etihad.

This is a big game for Gonzalo Higuain, 31, who is on loan until the end of the season.

Sarri knows the player better than most from his time at Napoli when the Argentine, arguably, played the best football of his career.

City to win and both teams to score is 21-10 at BetVictor and that is the recommendation.

Liverpool, who have a game in hand on Pep Guardiola’s side, are 4-6 to win the title and Spurs are 20-1. Liverpool play Bournemouth at Anfield today with Eddie Howe’s south coast side having lost their last seven away games.

Liverpool to win to nil is

11-10 at BetVictor. Chelsea are 8-13 to end the season in the top four with Manchester United – who travel to Fulham in the early kick-off today –

11-8.

Unai Emery’s Arsenal are 7-2 although I am convinced the Gunners will end the campaign in sixth place.

Their best opportunity of a return to the UEFA Champions League is realistically via the Europa League.

Their north London rivals Tottenham have managed well without England pair Harry Kane and Dele Alli and late winners against Fulham, Watford and Newcastle shows there is nothing wrong with their spirit.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men set a new Premier League record of 29 games without a draw when they beat Newcastle at Wembley last weekend and I feel they will maintain their title challenge with another narrow home win over Claude Puel’s Foxes when the two sides meet tomorrow.

City to win and both teams to score .................... 21-10
