MARCO SILVA is in all sorts of trouble if he loses to his old club today and I’m not sure his Everton players are going to pull through for him.

The fans are getting restless and losing at Watford could be the final straw for owner Farhad Moshiri.

I know he came out talking about holding your nerve and I’m sure he’s hoping Silva (below) turns it around. But the problem is, if you keep losing games you’re going to get the sack. They have already lost as many home games in the league as they did last season. And since they were beaten in the Merseyside derby in early

December, only two other teams have taken fewer points.

I hope the players roll their sleeves up and do the business for him, but I just don’t see it. Watford are a big, strong unit and I can’t see

Everton living with them at set-pieces.

Everton don’t look hard to play against at the moment. They are too soft. When I played, Goodison Park was always a tough place to go. But Wolves won there at a canter.

Every time they concede a corner or a free kick you think, “There’s a goal coming here.” That can’t be right.

It’s not an easy job because the fans expect to be where Liverpool are and the club has had money for the first time in forever. But they just haven’t spent it wisely.
