MY partner can’t stand to see me looking good.

The minute I get all dressed up he insists on having sex with me.

I try and sneak out of the front door but he invariably spins me round at the last minute and snogs the lipstick off me.

Then it’s on the stairs for full sex – and I’m left looking like Worzel Gummidge.

It doesn’t matter where I’m going – even if it’s only out with girlfriends or even my family. It’s as if he has to make me look ugly. My cousin says it’s all about him leaving his mark, but I don’t know.

What I do know is that I used to find his passion really funny and flattering, but I really don’t any more.

The other night I had to meet my boss and a client for dinner. I begged my guy not to ambush me, but he did it anyway and I arrived frazzled and late.

He thought it was funny, but my boss was furious. How do I get him to stop? JANE SAYS: I don’t find this behaviour the slightest bit funny or sexy, because it’s all about control.

Your man can’t stand the thought of you looking attractive and feeling confident because he’s insecure and nasty with it.

He has to understand that “no” always means “no”. If you tell him that you don’t want sex on the stairs before a night out, then he needs to respect that.

Sit him down now and tell him that he’s never to pull that stunt again. Does he get what you’re saying? That night with your boss was the final straw and he’s now on a warning.

Sadly, if he ignores you – or even physically or emotionally pushes you into something you’re not in agreement with, then you have to leave.

You have to start waking up to the fact that he doesn’t always have your best interests at heart.

Don’t be shy about reporting him to the police if he ever abuses you.

?? ?? Where’s Mark now, then? Oh help! He’s supposed to be fishing with his mate Dave, but I rang Dave and he hasn’t seen him Why are you so worried about him then Well, I am his wife. And I’ll skin him alive if he’s cheating on me Oh, I wouldn’t worry about it, you know what men are like. He’s probably gone to the pub I think she came round to see if you were here I don’t know He’s so useless. God knows why I married him in the first place I agree… what are we going to do?
