The Spurs star was sensational, creating a first goal for the club for Davinson Sanchez, scoring a belter and generally running the show with a touch of class.

But he is about to enter the final year of his contract and remains the biggest name at the club yet to commit his future.

Son was furious he didn’t get a penalty when Maguire made a challenge and didn’t get the ball – but referee Michael Oliver booked the South Korean for diving.
