TV star in vain dash to help girl

FOUND DEAD: Louella SOAP star John Michie’s daughter was found dead in an “odd position” with her eyes “staring straight” after a music festival drug trip, a court heard yesterday.

A security guard used the Google Maps app on the desperate actor’s phone to track missing Louella after Bestival bosses refused to let him in to look for her.

Coronation Street and Holby City star John and wife Carol dashed 130 miles from their London home to the Dorset site after hearing her “screeching” like a “wild animal” during a phone call from the event.

Louella had disappeared to a neighbouring wood with rapper boyfriend Ceon Broughton when storms halted stage performances.

Winchester Crown Court has heard she died from an overdose of party drug 2C-P – which Broughton denies giving to her – an hour before her 25th birthday.

Instead of going for help, it is alleged the musician filmed her with his mobile phone over six hours.

In three photos the musician took of her she was already dead, the court has heard.

Experts say she would have stood a 90% chance of survival if she had received help sooner.

Broughton, from Enfield, north London, denies manslaughter and supplying a Class A drug.
