CHERYL’S ‘STRICTLY AUDITION’
CHERYL dancing with Tweedy the enjoyed hunks of some Strictly flirty during her stage show on The Greatest Dancer.
She pinched Pasha Kovalev’s bottom and then got a cheeky wink from Neil Jones as she wowed viewers with a sizzling Latin routine.
Now fans are speculating that because of her performance and friendship with the pros, she will be a shoo-in for Strictly this autumn.
A source said last night: “It was like her ‘audition’ for Strictly. She’d have got four 10s from the judges.”
Fellow TGD team captains Oti Mabuse and Matthew Morrison also joined the Strictly pros but all eyes were on Cheryl showed as off she her moves dancers alongside including Katya Jones and Nadiya Bychkova.
Later, the Girls Aloud babe muscled her way into a group shot of the Strictly dancers backstage with Graziano Di Prima, Johannes Radebe, Amy Dowden and Gorka Marquez.
The BBC show has made no secret that they would love Cheryl to join their line up. And, just a few weeks ago, head judge Shirley Ballas said: “I think she would make a great contestant.”
The Greatest Dancer team captain and Strictly star Oti added: “I would love to see her try. People would love her and see another side that they haven’t seen yet.”
Following Saturday’s show, fans took to social media to support moves to get her in the BBC ballroom with comments such as: “I won’t be happy until Cheryl does Strictly”, “Cheryl really showing she can move too #strictly” and: “Cheryl for Strictly!!”
Last night a source said: “Strictly is six months away. There’s still time.”
