Blade horror as TV celebs go partying
LOVE Island and Strictly stars were left shocked after three men were stabbed outside a nightclub where they were partying.
Celebrities including Love Island’s Zara McDermott, 22, and Megan Barton-Hanson, 24, had arrived at Tape bar in London’s Mayfair for The Greatest Dancer after-party.
Other stars were also out celebrating Love Island contestant Ellie Brown’s birthday when violence broke out.
Three men, all 24, were knifed and rushed to hospital while the area was cordoned off by police.
Love Island contestant Samira Mighty said last night: “I had left at this point but I got a text from Ellie this morning.
“She was really upset. She tried to help. I don’t know much about what happened but I’m glad to hear they’re OK.”
Megan, clad in a tight pink latex dress, was spotted leaving the swanky do with Island co-star Charlie Brake, 24, moments before the stabbing took place.
Strictly couple Katya and Neil Jones had also rocked up at the showbiz bash after performing on The Greatest Dancer earlier in the evening.
Matthew Morrison, a team captain on the show, was also spotted at the club.
Yesterday the pavement outside the Tape bar was splattered with blood and littered with discarded clothing, broken glass and medical supplies.
Blood was also left smeared on the windows of nearby shops.
Two men, aged 23 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
They were being quizzed at central London police stations. A Met Police spokesman said: “Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and found three men, all aged 24, suffering from stab injuries.
“They have been taken to hospital. Their injuries are not life-threatening.”
