Training for next album

-

BRITISH Male winner George Ezra plans to board a train to write his next smash after the BRITs.

The Shotgun star penned his first two albums while travelling overseas.

And pop’s very own travel agent intends to embark on his longest foreign adventure yet for the next one.

Talking about new music, George revealed: “I wish the last album hadn’t taken so long.

“I’ve got some ideas of where I’d like to go next, I like train journeys so any long train journey, and I always like the sunshine so somewhere where the sun is.”

George wrote Staying At Tamara’s in Barcelona and said: “That month was the longest I’d spent in one place for two years because I’d toured so much.

“It’s in my nature to be on the move and see new things, experience things, meet new people. There are some artists that are brilliant at writing about home – the mundane and everyday life, but when I try and do it, it just sounds boring.

“So it’s good for me to travel and see new things. It makes me more switched on.”

So far he’s made his music alone but he’s up for a few famous names next time.

He joked: “Elvis Presley , if you can put me in touch with him let me know, and maybe Frank Sinatra as well. But realistically, if I could work with Drake that would be amazing.

“And I would also like to watch Adele sing.

“I don’t need to perform with her, she’s too good, just watch her.”

It was a family affair for George, who was accompanied by his pop star brother Ten Tonnes and his sister.

He said: “I tour with my sister. She helps me every day like an on-the-road manager and without her I’d be useless.”
