TOWIE diva Gemma Collins is making a sensational return to Dancing On Ice.

The reality star, who argued with judges and was branded “lazy”, was booted off two weeks ago.

Ratings have dipped now Gemma, 38, has gone.

But her professional ice dance partner Matt Evers has let slip about her comeback.

He tweeted a message to her saying: “You’re back on @dancingonice.”

And ITV last night confirmed that Gemma will head into training next week.

The move will thrill fans who loved her entertaining antics.

She famously argued with judge Jason Gardiner after he called her “lazy”, branded her “a brat” and fat-shamed her, claiming fans would never see her being lifted on the ice.

Furious plus-size boutique owner Gemma, from Essex, accused him of “selling stories” about her to the media, and then shouted at him, “Shut up!”

Then the week after her tearful spat, she took a tumble on the ice during her routine in front of seven million viewers.

Despite the fact she was badly bruised, critics still claimed the fall was a stunt to get publicity.

Gemma kept being saved by the public each week even at the expense of better skaters.

Jason Gardiner said Dancing On Ice had become “The Gemma Collins Show” as she was getting all the attention.

She survived five weeks before getting the chop.

And she said of her exit: “I want to bow out gracefully. It’s time to let them all go on.”

Gemma’s departure has dented ratings though.

According to its peak figures, the show has lost almost a million viewers since she left.

Gemma goes back into training with Matt, 42, next week as the pair are set to appear in the series finale on March 10.

The duo will perform one of their favourite routines.

Last night a show spokeswoman said: “Gemma and all those eliminated from this year’s series will perform in the final.”
