Skelton out to show what Fuisse is about

- MARK PEARSON

THERE is an estimated £200k in this weekend’s Scoop6 plus Fred has put up a £100,000 bonus for any individual Betfred winner today.

The action is spread across Chepstow, Kempton and Newcastle.

We start at Kempton where Not That Fuisse can follow up a recent Taunton win for Dan Skelton. He impressed chasing home Al Dancer at Cheltenham and on a similar track should take some beating.

At Chepstow, Choix Des Armes can be another winner for Paul Nicholls. He has had a break since

his second at Kempton in May and will appreciate a return to slightly easier conditions while Lorcan Williams’ 5lb claim is another tick.

Petit Palais is a halfbrother to 2000 Guineas winner Galileo Gold and looks well set at Kempton.

The Eider Chase is a gruelling four-miler at Newcastle where trainer Christian Williams is excited to run his Potters Corner.

He is reunited with James Bowen who was on board for a win two runs ago. And he was still in with a shout when departing three out last time. He looks overpriced at double figures. Back to Kempton and Rather Be can finally have his day in the sun. He needs to prove that he stays but was out of luck when brought down at Cheltenham in November, and he ran well to be fifth behind Frodon at the December meeting. He has since been freshened up and has huge claims of taking Kempton’s feature handicap. Sandymount can take the last. He is down to his last winning mark and sneaks in off bottom weight under Ciaran Gethings.
