JIHADI BRIDE WHINES ABOUT BEING FAMOUS

Brit teen mum begs for a ‘second chance’

JIHADI bride Shamima Begum has moaned she is not being allowed to return to the UK because she is “famous”.

The teenager claims her notoriety is the real reason she had her British citizenship revoked by Home Secretary Sajid Javid.

Begum, who gave birth to baby son Jerah days ago, asked why scores of other jihadi brides had been let back into the UK and she had been rejected. She also said her “fame” had angered other women in the Al-Hawr camp where she is being held.

The 19-year-old said: “Now a lot of people hate me. I’m afraid of a lot of people.

“I feel like I’ve been discriminated against – because everyone was saying I was a poster girl for Isis.

“I’m being made an example of. I’m being punished right now because I’m famous.”

Begum has begged the Government to give back her British citizenship. She is currently banned from returning to the UK to live, claim benefits or access the NHS and state schools.

She now claims she wants a “second chance” to prove she is a true Brit – by returning to the UK to warn others not to “make the same mistake” as her.

Begum – who ran away to Syria as a 15-year-old schoolgirl to wed an Islamic State fighter – finally admitted she had made the wrong “lifechanging decision”.

It is the first time she has shown remorse since she was discovered in a Syrian refugee camp a week ago following the collapse of the terror cell.

Previously Begum has said she did not regret joining – and claimed that the 2017 Manchester Arena attack was justified retaliation for the bombing of Isis women and children by the West. BANNED: Begum, 19
