‘SICK-COVERED’ KATIE BANNED FROM ROAD

Blurry eyes, speech slurred, smelling of booze

KATIE Price has been slapped with a threemonth driving ban after she was found guilty of being in charge of her vomit-covered pink Range Rover while almost twice the drinkdrive limit.

The former glamour model, 40, was discovered by police officers in the back seat of her famous £130,000 motor with “bloodshot eyes” just before 1am on October 10 last year.

Pc Benjamin Jones told Bexley Magistrates’ Court in London yesterday that he was on duty when he saw the reality star’s vehicle parked at an odd angle on Shooters Hill in south London.

He told the court that he saw the bumper had been damaged and one of the front fog lights had been knocked out.

Pc Jones added that – as he approached – he heard the engine making “a ticking noise” that told him it had recently been running.

Bloodshot

The constable said that when he looked in the car he saw Price in the backseat.

“Her eyes were bloodshot, she was in a slouch position and I could smell alcohol on her person,” he told the court.

Both Price and her boyfriend Kris Boyson, who was also in the car, claimed another man had been driving and had then run away, taking the car keys with him.

But Pc Jones told the court that the car’s engine had later been turned on.

When officers breathalysed Price they found she had a blood alcohol level of 69 micrograms per 100ml of blood – the legal driving level is just 35.

Price claimed that on the night of October 9, Mr Boyson’s 30th birthday party, she had drunk “about three, four or maybe five” so-called “pornstar” martinis.

District judge Nigel Dean found Price was not a “credible” or “plausible” witness and ruled she had been drunk in charge.

Speaking after the case she defiantly told reporters said she would be back on the roads by May 24.

This is the mum of five’s third driving ban.

She was asked to pay fines and costs of £2,425 within 56 days.
