TV Roseanne: #MeToo victims ‘a bunch of hos’

STAR SAYS ACTRESSES ‘PRETEND’

SHAMED comic Roseanne Barr sparked outrage after branding #MeToo victims a bunch of “hos”.

The US star claimed too many actresses involved in the anti-sex attacks movement are “pretending” they have been abused.

They really only ever wanted to trade sexual favours for top Hollywood roles, she claimed.

In an extraordinary rant, she said: “It’s because they’re hos [American slang for whores].

“If you don’t run out of the room and go: ‘Excuse me, you don’t do that to me,’ and leave, but you stayed around because you’re like: ‘Well, I thought maybe he was going to give me a writing job,’ well, you are nothing but a ho.”

The actress was fired from her show Roseanne last year after posting a racist tweet, which compared former US presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett with an ape.

The 66-year-old said having two sons and five grandsons had given her a different perspective on #MeToo.

She claimed the men in her family had been victims of “ho privilege”.

The TV star told The Candace Owens Show podcast: “I have a different view on how women are than a lot of these other types, you know? I know a ho when I see one. I’m telling you, they come for my boys because I’m their mum and we have a little bit of money.

“I’ve got an eagle eye for this thing. I know, and they need to be called out, they really, really do. That’s privilege too, it’s ho privilege.”

She also accused California senator and Democratic presidential hopeful Kamala Harris of having “slept her way to the bottom”, and dubbed her “Kama Sutra Harris”.

After her tweet about Ms Jarrett caused outrage last year, she deleted it and apologised for “making a bad joke about her politics and her looks”.

Roseanne said: “I should have known better. Forgive me – my joke was in bad taste.”

She later said she did not know Ms Jarrett was black, and claimed she had taken sleep medication Ambien before writing the tweet. DAILY STAR, Tuesday, March 5, 2019
