Tuchel: Tough task ahead

-

THOMAS TUCHEL has warned Manchester United that Kylian Mbappe could be impossible to stop tonight.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will have to keep superstar Mbappe quiet to stand any chance of overturning the 2-0 deficit and keeping their European dream alive.

The striker has emerged as the brightest talent in the world football after helping France win the World Cup last summer.

He has plundered 30 goals for club and country this season, including one in the from JEREMY CROSS in Paris first leg, and PSG boss Tuchel reckons United could have no answer to the youngster’s talents.

The German said: “He’s one of the best strikers at the moment. He’s very young but is one of the best in the world.

“He clearly can be the very best. He’s very strong and dangerous in the final third and hard to defend against.

“His personality is also extraordinary. He’s very hungry and wants to score in every game. You need this personality as a striker – if you want to be the best, you have to be hungry.”

Tuchel, who will give a late fitness test to forward Edinson Cavani, knows his side are strong favourites to go through to the last eight.

But he has told his players to remain calm.

He added: “For us, too, the first goal is really important.

“The key is to be confident but not too confident.

“The game is going to be very tight and we cannot waste time thinking about every possibility.”
