But according to the team behind the ITV period drama, the pair are destined to clash as it’s just history repeating.

Reports have circulated in recent months that things are frosty between Prince Harry and Prince William’s wives as they are very different people with little in common.

However, writer Daisy Goodwin – who has spent many years researching royal history and diaries for Victoria starring Jenna Coleman and Tom Hughes – claims it was always going to happen.

She explained: “I am fascinated by the current royals because nothing has changed.

MEET Britney Spears. We’re not being unkind to the Toxic star but this pug is named after her.

The 11-month-old pooch ends up on the doorstep of The Supervet this week.

Although normally sassy – just like the real Britney – the poor pet has been displaying signs of what may be neurological damage.

On examination, it’s found she has a genetic bone malformation which is squashing her spinal cord.

Left untreated without risky and complex surgery, this could eventually result in paralysis.

Find out what happens on the show tomorrow at 8pm.
