And a gelada, also called a bleeding-heart monkey, grimaces while staring into the distance in Ethiopia. Danish photographer Mogens Trolle, 50, who captured them, said: “Like us humans, they communicate a lot with their facial expressions and eyes, and I think they are the most expressive animals.

“Each species has their own characteristics.” MOST British teenagers have never drank booze or smoked, according to shock figures.

Some 84% of under-16s have never tried alcohol or a fag, according to research by the NHS.

And only 44% of teens said they had booze in 2018.

Previous data recorded between 1988 and 2003 showed more than 60% of teenagers admitting to being drinkers.

And the number of young people who smoked last year has plummeted to its lowest rate at 16% – compared to 49% in 1996.

Experts now believe tougher laws on selling cigarettes to under-18s have helped drive down figures. And Rosanna O’Connor, director of drugs, alcohol, tobacco and justice at Public Health England, said: “These results show again that e-cigarettes are not leading more young people to smoke. “Regular vaping among those who have never smoked is very rare and the results published show youth smoking rates are continuing to decline at an encouraging rate.” The study of more than 13,500 school pupils aged between 11 and 15 said one in four have tried drugs. It also found pupils who have recently smoked, boozed and taken drugs are more likely to be unhappy.
