There’s more to it w. There’s things going on in people’s lives. There’s not one solution because everyone is going through their own mental health issues, but people need to open up more and talk.”

“I knew I had to talk to someone,” continues Olivia. “But Mike and Sophie felt they couldn’t and that’s the issue. But it will never solve it – we’re humans, we’re complex.

“It’s sad you have to get to this point to have a discussion about it but we all know it’s important now. Alex and I both talk about our experiences and we hope will help.”

The only thing off-limits in Olivia & Alex: Happily Ever After is “Anything non-PG”.

In fact they insisted on showing their real life, warts and all, rather than an airbrushed version.

“You see these programmes glamorising reality stars,” adds Olivia. “But we are two down-toearth people in love trying to make a marriage, a business and a life work and that’s what we wanted to come across.” And after it Olivia admitted she found it annoying when people constantly asked about babies, it seems she may be changing her mind.

“I wasn’t keen on the idea but I’m 26 next year and my view has changed,” she says. “I’m gradually coming round to it.

“We are closer to the idea but it will still be a couple of years as we are still concentrating on our careers.”
