Some good news at last – meat isn’t bad for you!

❑ No health risks from eating red and processed meat, so we can continue to enjoy eating bacon, steak, roast beef etc. The key thing is that it’s all about balanced meals, for example, tomatoes and beans with bacon or sausages, onion rings and peas with a steak. As a good source of protein and iron, meat is an essential part of a healthy and balanced diet. It tastes great too! Dave Pinfold, Stockport
