A massive well done to Sainsburys for withdrawin­g the sale of fireworks in all their stores. Organised displays are the only place for them. And my cat and dog agree. Golden Oldie

I applaud Sainsbury’s for stopping the sale of fireworks. Already my dog Max is being upset by fireworks being let off and it’s not even bonfire night. I love fireworks so I’m not being a killjoy but I love my dog Max more. JoM
