Almost see Kim back on the show, which is really nice. It’s really lovely. I do miss playing her. She keeps me on my toes. She keeps me busy.

“What I love is that we have seen Kim grow. She’s not a one-trick pony.

“Initially she was the happy factor, which was great.

“But now she’s a mother and we’ve seen her manoeuvre through life.

“I’ll be back for a good while. don’t want them to kick me out.”

During her time away from EastEnders, Tameka has been working on a top-secret project.

She said: “It’s been nice to focus on my life for a bit.

“There is something I’ve been working on. But I can’t really say too much. All will be revealed soon.”

SIR David Attenborou­gh’s new BBC One series Seven Worlds, One Planet features footage of wildlife on every continent.

Producer Jonny Keeling said: “The variety of life on earth is at risk so we’ve taken a big step forward in featuring these threats to our planet.

“We have a story about the historic damage done by whaling, which you would expect to be distressin­g but which actually tells a story of a positive reversal in recent years.”

The series starts on Sunday at 6.15pm.
