The drama is back for its 23rd series on BBC One in the new year.

Paddy also claims the producers on Take Me Out do listen to calls from fans to make the show more diverse.

He adds: “We have had a few gay lads on. We’ve done an OAP special and loads of people asked us to reverse women and men – and we did.

“When people want something, I do it. “Within reason though – I’m not doing the show naked!”

CALL The Midwife star Emerald Fennell is full of praise for Camilla Parker Bowles.

She plays Prince Charles’ wife in the new series of Netflix’s The Crown which launches next week.

She salutes the royal’s no-nonsense attitude and says: “There’s a scene where we see Camilla visiting the Palace and she says: ‘What’s it like living here?’ She’s interested in it, but not beguiled by it.’”
