A MUM and her half-brother killed two sons they had through an incestuous relationship.

Sick Sarah Barrass posted online: “Murder is like potato chips – you can’t stop with just one.’’

The 35-year-old strangled 13-year-old Tristan with a dressing gown cord. Her twisted lover Brandon Machin throttled 14-year-old Blake with his bare hands before they put plastic bags over both the boys’ heads.

They had earlier tried to poison the teens with their ADHD medication.

Barrass feared their six children were about to be taken into care.

She had lied to the youngsters that their dad was dead and told them Machin was their uncle. But he was actually the father of all six.

Police found the boys dead in their bunk beds at their Sheffield home in May after Barrass called officers in an apparent bid to blame 39-year-old Machin.

The court was told Barrass had barricaded herself in a room with the four surviving children and told officers the other two were with neighbours. But Kama Melly, prosecuting, said: “Whilst she was saying this one of the children motioned to the officer that the children were dead. He moved his hand across his throat.’’

The pair, who admitted two murders, five attempted murders and six charges of conspiracy to kill, were each ordered to serve at least 35 years behind bars as they were jailed for life at Sheffield Crown Court yesterday.

Barrass’s brother Martyn, 34, “Those two have been evil since Blake and Tristan were polite, lads.” said: birth. kindhearted
