Lumley’s ‘hidden’ journey
JOANNA Lumley heads to the Caribbean for her new adventure series.
Cameras will follow the actress as she travels more than 1,500 miles across a string of islands.
She said: “I’m so thrilled to have had the opportunity to go on this adventure and show people a side to these Caribbean countries that they have never seen before.”
Hidden Caribbean: Havana To Haiti will air in the spring.
STARS of Call The Midwife say they were spooked by a ghost while making their Christmas special.
They jetted to the Outer Hebrides to film the festive episode – and got more than they bargained for when they checked in at Amhuinnsuidhe Castle on the Isle of Harris.
The hotel is said to be haunted by Lady Sophie Scott, who was a resident there in Edwardian times.
Her remains are buried nearby and it’s claimed she regularly checks in on guests.
Show boss Heidi Thomas said: “The hotel was complete with oak panelling, log fires, a ghost and a dinner gong. resembled the setting of murder mystery.
