ACE HARRY IS IN KOP FORM

EDDIE HOWE is delighted with the form of free-kick king Harry Wilson.

The forward, 22, has scored six goals since arriving on a season’s loan from Liverpool in the summer.

Bournemouth boss Howe said: “He is Liverpool’s player and we are very grateful to Liverpool for trusting us with the next phase of Harry’s development.

“Last season he was in the Championship and now he is in the Premier League.

“As far as I am concerned, I work week-to-week. I don’t look too far ahead.”

Wilson (below) bagged a double after coming off the bench in Saturday’s 3-2 defeat against Tottenham, including another stunning free-kick.

And he hopes it will be enough to earn him a starting spot at Crystal Palace tonight.

He said: “I want to start every game.

“When you are not starting you have got to stay positive so that when you are called upon you can make a difference.”

But Wilson’s side could be in for a tricky night, as Roy Hodgson believes Andros Townsend is getting back to his best after a tough start to the season. The Eagles manager made it clear the winger was falling short of his usual standards by drafting in Jeff Schlupp ahead of him. Hodgson said: “Earlier on in the season I didn’t think he was playing anywhere near as well as he should be. “And with a guy like Jeff Schlupp knocking on the door I thought it was the right time to give him a chance. “Andros took that on the chin, he has fought back and got himself back into the team.

“And in the game against Liverpool, in particular, he really helped us to a good performance.

“I am lucky in the sense that he has got a mirror which he can look into and evaluate his own performance. “He is not one of those who, whether he plays well or badly, comes off thinking, ‘I’m a genius’. “He is a player who will come off after a poor game and will admit

it. I did not change anything with him. Andros is an honest person, you can see that in the way he plays.”
