THIS is the first picture of a British Airways “Angel” who died in a horror car crash on New Year’s Eve.

Rachel Clarke, 20, was killed when the vehicle she was travelling in collided with a lorry near Heathrow Airport.

Colleagues Dominic Fell, 23, and Joe Finnis, 25, also died in the accident.

Another stewardess, 25, who has not been named, survived the crash at Stanwell, Surrey, and last night remained in a serious condition in hospital.

All four were seeing in the New Year. Two had finished work at Heathrow at 6pm while the others were not due to be on duty.

Scores of pals have been paying tribute to the three who lost their lives. Hanushe Lala, who was friends with Rachel, wrote: “I am truly lost for words: you were a kind, beautiful and intelligent person who only ever brightened up everyone’s day.”

Laura Stewart said: “Dom and Joe were truly special men and I hope that their families take some comfort in knowing that they were so loved.”

Meanwhile a close friend of Dominic, who did not want to be named, said: “Dom was one of a kind, a truly nice human being, one of the good guys.”

Meanwhile, a fundraising page had last night raised more than £70,000. The “BA Angels Fund” was established by fellow cabin crew member Stephen Crook to help the victims’ families.

He wrote on behalf of the appeal: “I know it is January and I know that money is tight but I know that as a fleet we will pull together and make this happen.”
