CONTROVERSIAL Ollie Williams has revealed he quit Love Island to get back with his ex.
The toff, who sparked anger over his love for hunting wild animals, walked off the ITV2 show after just three days.
In his only interview since leaving the villa, Ollie, 23, told how he could not take part because he still has feelings for former girlfriend Laura Nofer, 22, above.
He said: “I have to be honest with myself, and everyone, that I do still love someone else… I have to follow my heart in this scenario and it would be wrong for me to ignore these feelings.”
Ollie insists he had to ditch villa partner Paige Turley, 22, to avoid being a fake, adding: “At the end of the day, this is Love Island and it’s about finding love.
“If I carried on anything with Paige or any other girl that might come into the villa, it wouldn’t be fair on them.”
Ollie walked just hours after having a bust-up with Paige. In footage shown last night he was accused of secretly lusting after Siannise Fudge, 25. His exit is due to air in tonight’s show.
Ollie’s love for big game hunts made him a hate figure among viewers.
After photos emerged of him with slaughtered animals there was outrage, and media watchdog Ofcom received hundreds of complaints.
An online petition calling for him to be axed from the villa was signed by more than 39,000 people.
Nature presenter Chris Packham, 58, was among those who slammed show bosses. He said: “We should be naming and shaming.
“Why on earth are ITV thinking about giving this man a platform? You can’t give a platform to people who are killing wildlife for fun.”
The series has been dogged by a string of controversies.
Caroline Flack, 40, quit as host after being charged with common assault. She will face trial in March.
And earlier this week Siannise likened fellow contestant Nas Majeed, 23, to Disney character Aladdin.
