FALLON SHERROCK makes an emotional homecoming tonight admitting: “There’s a target on my back and everyone wants to take me out.” She will take a bow on stage at the Ladbrokes Masters in Milton Keynes, after making history at Alexandra Palace six weeks ago. Sherrock (left) became famous after becoming the first woman to beat male side that had a huge effort up front from Joe Philbin and an eye-catching debut from young full-back Matty Ashton.

But coach Steve Price will have seen enough enterprise in his team to encourage him ahead of the 2020 campaign.

His counterpart Adrian Lam will also be confident of a successful season despite struggling to find much fluidity with their numerical advantage.

Warrington had started positively and after Stefan Ratchford slotted an early penalty, Ben (above) (below)

Murdoch-Masila roared on to a Blake Austin pass and brushed off George Burgess to score.

Full-back French hit back when he dummied between props Hill and Mike Cooper to cross under the posts.

Hill’s high tackle resulted in a penalty try but Ratchford closed the gap to two points at the break with another penalty.

The game burst into life again when Cooper was shown yellow for obstructing French before the Wigan full-back then turned provider for Marshall to seal victory.

KYLE AMOR insists St Helens won’t rest on their laurels after a dominant 2019.

Saints finished a record 16 points clear of the field last season and have the same squad but a new coach in Kristian Woolf, whose side host Salford tonight.

Forward Amor said: “The challenge for us is not to sit back and be cocky.

“Our whole value and ethos at this club is underpinned by hard work and that hasn’t changed.

“We’ve got a new coach and he started with everybody starting as equal.

“Salford is a Grand Final rematch but it’s clean slate time and nobody’s got a point on the board.

“They will come to our ground trying to do a number on us and we’ve got to make sure that doesn’t happen.”

Salford’s run to the Grand Final last year has also given encouragement to Wakefield – who travel to face Hull KR tonight – that they can push for a play-off place.

Centre Ryan Atkins, back for his second spell at Trinity, said: “It’s something that can be achievable.

“If we can go under the radar, like Salford did before people started realising they meant business, then we’ll be happy.”
