BREXIT comedian Alistair Williams turned down an offer to appear on the Beeb because of its “antiBritish bias”.

The stand-up revealed he was asked to appear last week to discuss the UK leaving the EU.

But he snubbed the BBC, branding their content “propaganda”.

He tweeted: “Due to the bias and anti-British propaganda being produced by the BBC I’m afraid I would not be comfortable appearing on the network.”

He also blasted the Beeb for sharing a clip of the Horrible Histories’ song British Things, calling the song “brainwashing of the young to hate their country”.

He added: “It’s probably one of the most epic space opera stories we’ve done.

“It’s a big, big Cybermen story, that last two-parter.

“There are a lot of Cybermen coming. It might start with one, but you’ll see a lot more.

“There are fantastic spaceships and there are Cybermen.”

He explained: “We look at the ratings as you would if it was a show on Netflix or Amazon.

“It’s such a jigsaw puzzle now of all different ratings from all different sources. The BBC are really delighted with how the show’s performed this year.”

KATIE Price is being eyed up by producers to replace Caprice Bourret on Dancing On Ice, after the model sensationally quit the show last week.

One of the show’s bosses, Dan Whiston, said the 41-year-old former glamour model Katie would be perfect for the skating competition.

He revealed: “I’ve always said Katie Price would be a good signing. She’d be quite outspoken and fun.”
