NHS staff being asked to share masks etc – really!! And that’s straight from a nurse absolutely desperate, where’s all this equipment different MPS are telling us about? And now they’re taking time off – with their salaries that’s not a prob eh but wat about all the grafters dumped literally trying to claim da beautiful tory dream of universal credit! robtin

My heart goes out to the young nurse who tragically took her own life. The conditions and expectations are truly not protecting the NHS as the government keep babbling on about. When they have let them down on all fronts, and putting them at risk unconditionally. Other countries have a top notch protective equipment, we dress ours up in a bit of clingfilm we look stupid and cheap. All our political leaders, have only tried to protect the economy, all the lives being lost now, are a direct result of there decisions, they live in this realisation of knowing where we will be in 3 weeks, 4 weeks and so on. Shaun

Just remember how the bosses like Sports Direct owner Mike Ashley and Wetherspoons boss Tim Martin behaved during this crisis when this is over. Boycott their businesses.

Mike Ashley, not satisfied with everyone here on Tyneside thinking he’s an a**e, he’s now got the whole country hating his guts and that’s a lot of hate. Duffy

never ever in my life have I felt as sick as I did when I heard of the abandoned old people’s home in Spain leaving those poor old people to die and try to fend for themselves. I’ve never known such a lack of humanity apart from the nazi Germany, absolutely disgusting. Salford rocket

am now sick of having funeral insurance policy offers on TV popping up every few minutes. Do we expect families, who have just lost someone, wanting to watch a smiling excited salesperson selling all excited and can’t wait to die so their family can claim money. Insensitive at its worst.

went 2 aldi today & wore a mask n gloves, I didn’t see anyone else wearing them, do they not get it how serious this virus is? We all have 2 work together 2 beat it. Kev in wigan

pubs today, drug dens, fights murders, stolen goods markets, drunks clogging up hospitals, police attacked, anti social behaviour, would it be a good thing to keep pubs closed? Cat

re Shaun c. I agree with you about people not washing their hands after using the toilets I see it all the time, both men & women do it. Crazy Cleaner

Great that London gets a new hospital. What about the rest of us? Don’t we count? Paul, Lincs

Just seen a notice on a van “no toilet rolls or bread kept on this van overnight.” Geo, Durham

We might see seagulls leaving cities now the streets are empty. No food lying around. John Hughes, Glasgow

Bringing hawks in to deter gulls from nesting sounds good but will only create the same problem for other towns and cities when the gulls look for alternative nesting sites. Stop feeding them by not throwing your leftover food all over the place. AL, DURHAM

Can’t see the sense in Sunderland Council using a hawk that doesn’t kill just scares gulls. It’s just moving problem somewhere else. TOM BOLA

What is the difference between a poorly dressed man on a tricycle and a well dressed man on a cycle? Attire. Keeley R all u Thanks to toilet roll stock have to pilers – l now worse use both sides, snatched still u have wash. all the hand
