ROCK legend Ozzy Osbourne is making “mind-blowing” progress after having stemcell treatment in a bid to get back on stage.
The former Black Sabbath singer has been battling Parkinson’s disease and debilitating back and neck injuries – but is desperate to finish his farewell tour.
The 71-year-old flew to Panama for an initial procedure a few weeks ago, rather than risk a proposed eightweek stay in Switzerland for an intense recovery and therapy package. Ozzy, who had spinal surgery after a fall last year, is now self-quarantining at his
Beverly Hills home.
Daughter Kelly, 35, opened up on how her dad, nicknamed The
Prince of Darkness, is fighting for his health.
She admitted he is “frustrated” at having to stay in due to social distancing amid the Covid-19 crisis.
But she noted that he is
“doing really good” following his first treatment.
Kelly said: “Seeing after one treatment of stem cell what has happened and the progress that he’s made is mind-blowing. He wants to get up. He wants to be part of the world again.
“He’s walking better. He’s talking better.
“He is building the muscle strength back that he needs after his spine surgery. It has given us so much hope.
“He’s ready to get out of the house and now he can’t get out of the house.
“He keeps saying to me: ‘I’ve been on quarantine for almost two years and now I’m feeling better the world is on quarantine.’”
