Harris earning despite evil crimes

DISGRACED entertainer Rolf Harris is still raking in the cash – six years after he was convicted of sexually assaulting under-age girls.

A firm set up by the shamed paedophile to invest in stocks and shares this week reported a bottom line of more than £3.2million.

The Australian child molester – believed to be worth about £15m – founded the company in 2012.

Vile Harris resigned as a director of RHE Investments Ltd in 2015 after he was found guilty of assaulting girls as young as seven between 1968 and 1986.

But his loyal wife Alwen remains company secretary and his niece Jennifer is paid £74,486 to look after the investments.

Accounts show it has £108,784 in cash and £3,171,680 invested.

Harris was convicted in June 2014 of 12 indecent assaults on young girls and women.

One despicable attack was on a seven-year-old autograph hunter, two were on girls in their early teens, and he subjected his daughter’s friend to a catalogue of abuse over 16 years.

Harris left prison in May 2017 after serving three years of a fiveyears and nine months sentence.

The 89-year-old has made millions from his telly, music and paintings – which used to sell for tens of thousands of pounds.

He has also been a shrewd investor, setting up a range of businesses to handle his fortune. After being jailed, Harris closed down several of them, but he disposed of the cash to family members.

And his paintings still sell on ebay, albeit for a fraction of their value before he fell from grace.

He has been slammed by victims’ families for never showing any remorse. They say him continuing to make money is “yet another insult to those he assaulted”.
