LIAM Gallagher had a meltdown as he spent seven hours trying to build a barbecue on his own in his garden.

The Oasis star was hoping to make the most of the bank holiday sunshine with an outdoor cookout. But Liam, whose old band’s biggest hits include Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back In Anger, was stumped and lost the plot after taking to Twitter in a “merry” tirade. Liam said: “Just put my new BBQ together first bit of graft in 29 years my head is officially tw * tted, egg my a***. “Seriously Laurel n Hardy had f*** all on me and Rkid f***ing stupid f***ing BBQ. “Looking for washers now on the grass coz we’ve done it wrong bringing me back to my days of picking magic mushrooms. F***ing starving the pot noodles are gonna have to come out f*** BBQS.

“I’m a little merry, think that’s why it’s took me seven hours.”

But he showed perseverance as he eventually posted a picture of the finished product. And despite the success he still wasn’t happy, as he added: “There he is the c***. The sun has got his hat on hip hip hip hooray c’mon you f ***erss.”

And his troubles led to people online comparing his issues to Homer Simpson who struggled with the same tricky task in an infamous episode.

Fans also compared the barbecue to R2-D2, as it has a similar domed head and chrome finish to the Star Wars droid. One poster wrote: “Liam, is this the barbecue you’ve been looking for?”

And when another asked how it was going, he shared: “Not fired it up yet it’s looking like Mike Tyson at the moment.”

But he also told his followers the first thing he was going to cook on the barbecue was his brother Noel.

SOME celebrities need to show far more responsibility.

Their words and actions have lasting effects.

Like it or not, people look up to them. So it’s very worrying how many are peddling ludicrous conspiracy theories during this crisis.

Stars like Amanda Holden and Amir Khan are among those to have helped promote the dangerous 5G myth.

Now Sol Campbell has suggested – without evidence – that Covid-19 was “designed” to kill black people.

Yes, the statistics suggesting ethnic minorities are more susceptible to the virus are very worrying and need to be investigated.

But his theory is baseless.

We need to listen to the scientists – not former footballers pumped full of their own self-worth.
